West coast transplant by way of Philly, Andre Power has a diverse approach to creative endeavors. He does more than consistently adjust to the change that life brings, he thrives on it; taking life as it is, content to simply “be”. He is currently developing collaborative public art initiatives that bring together people from various backgrounds including community groups, artists, environmentalists, professionals, and young people. His practice includes a hybrid of graphic design, painting, photography and curatorial activities with heavy universal inspiration rooted in music. Some of his more recent works and projects include being a co-founder of theCollaboratory, which was a space for artist & musicians to come, network and create as well as the monthly live art showcase Art in the Park, a unique innovative event in San Diego. Aside from focusing on his own personal art career he has done freelance design projects for various local musicians as well as Grammy Award Winning Artist Dionne Warwick and the late Isaac Hayes. Mr. Power is poised to elevate art goonery worldwide.
